Member Services Administrator
Position Summary:
- Performs general administrative duties, such as word processing, filing, copying, supply ordering, mail distribution, travel arrangements, meeting minutes, correspondence, standard and ad hoc reports and spreadsheets, and departmental telephone support.
- Plans and coordinates Affordable Housing, Products and Services Committee and Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Council) meetings, including logistics, pre-meeting package preparation, formatting and uploading material to Directors Desk, distribution and post-meeting tasks. Records and prepares minutes for the Council meeting.
- Organizes the membership and community investment event planning and trade association conferences, coordinates and communicates department schedules and meetings and coordinates conference calls for Council and Board subcommittees.
- Assists with market research and analysis and administers the Continuing Professional Education credit program.
- Responds to customer inquiries and requests, supports community investment product marketing staff and maintains customer database.
- Assists in preparation of Affordable Housing Program (AHP), Community Lending Program (CLP), Banking on Business (BOB), First Front Door (FFD), Blueprint Communities and special initiatives newsletters, announcements and sales pitches; assists in product research, surveys, market development and development of special programs; Coordinates logistics for webinars.
- Participates in AHP funding round application processing, prepares AHP supplementary information and provides daily system maintenance of the AHP system.
- Inputs data for all community investment program activities into database, reconciles data information with hard file documentation and maintains files for all community investment programs, including paper file management at NUS.
- Ensures compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a post-high school secretarial program is preferred
- Four or more years administrative support experience
- Advanced skills using the full Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency in Access is required
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
Senior Market Risk Analyst or Market Risk Analyst
This position may be filled as a Senior Market Analyst or Market Risk Analyst dependent on experience.
Position Summary:
- Maintains and utilizes ALM or trading software to project and measure the Bank’s financial performance and condition. Produces key analytic reports on a regular basis that measure the sensitivity of earnings or market value to changes in market conditions and business strategies.
- Generates analysis to account for changes in projections/measures and to isolate sources of earnings or market value sensitivity. Identify and monitor factors influencing measured results and sources of sensitivity. Ensures that department results and reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
- Ensures that model parameters, applied methodologies and assumptions are appropriate and adequate for risk measurement and valuation. Researches and addresses modeling issues driven by changing market conditions and business/hedging strategy. Performs sensitivity analyses of key model parameters and assumptions.
- Validates the accuracy of model processes and applied methodologies/assumptions through back-testing and external benchmarking. Researches identified variances and recommends model and/or assumption changes to improve the accuracy of financial projections, instrument valuation and risk measures.
- Determines the appropriate modeling of new instruments transacted by the Bank. Works with Capital Markets to assess the potential market risk of prospective trade types. Coordinates with Corporate Risk Management staff to create/alter processes, if necessary, to support new trade types.
- Develops and generates market risk scenarios to support stress testing and evaluation of capital adequacy (risk-based capital, projected capital stock price).
- Summarizes and reports results to senior management, ALCO and Capital Markets to effectively communicate expected financial performance and risk exposures. Assists in developing an understanding of risk management concepts and practices within the Bank and establishing limits and guidelines that reflect the risk tolerance of the Board and management.
- Participates in ongoing development of risk measures and analytical/reporting framework. Develops and enhances analytic reports and processes to more effectively highlight and communicate risk exposure and assess the validity of results.
- Plays a primary role in the validation, testing and implementation of upgrades to ALM/trading software and the identification and implementation of new tools and techniques to improve the risk measurement process. Researches and expands the use of existing software to apply additional risk measures and analysis to support the risk management function.
- Acts as department representative with internal/external auditors, model validators and examiners.
- Assists in documenting processes/procedures and meeting the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley and the End User Application Policy.
- Ensures compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations.
Minimum Qualifications (Senior Market Risk Analyst):
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related discipline required; MBA, MS or CFA preferred
- 7 or more years of experience in risk management or asset/liability management
- Knowledge of financial institution balance sheet fundamentals, financial instrument valuation and interest rate risk measurement/management techniques and practices
- Experience working directly with asset-liability management or trading software to measure and analyze market risk
- Experience modeling and analyzing fixed income instruments, including residential mortgage products, debt instruments and interest rate derivatives, and knowledge of related accounting standards
- Experience validating model results/output and ability to identify relationships between models and data/assumptions.
Minimum Qualifications (Market Risk Analyst):
