Congressman Tim Murphy Holds Housing Needs Assessment Forum

On May 29, Congressman Tim Murphy (PA-18) held a Forum on Affordable Housing to further assess citizens’ needs and make nonprofit organizations and for-profit developers aware of potential grants for the construction or rehabilitation of affordable housing projects.

 

Sen. Specter Leads Delegation of Elected Officials Awarding AHP Grants in western PA

On April 7, U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) headed an entourage of elected officials helping to present $3.3 million in FHLBank Affordable Housing Program grants to 11 projects in western PA. The event was held at the Centre Avenue YMCA in the Hill District of Pittsburgh.

   

Mayor Nutter, FHLBank Announce $5.3 Million for Philly Affordable Housing

At a March 18 event at historic City Hall in Philadelphia, U.S. Sen. Robert P. Casey Jr. (D-PA) and Mayor Michael A. Nutter announced the awarding of $5.3 million in affordable housing grants for the construction or rehabilitation of 645 units of much-needed affordable housing across the city.

Carper, Castle Announce More Than $1.7 Million in Grants for Five New Projects in Delaware

U.S. Sen. Tom Carper (DE), U.S. Rep. Michael Castle (DE), and Wilmington Mayor James Baker joined officials of FHLBank Pittsburgh on January 7, 2008 to announce more than $1.7 million in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant money to five housing developments in Wilmington.
