Affordable Housing Program Process
Step 1: Webinars, Technical Assistance and Training
Informational webinars on AHP and all processes in place for the 2010 funding round will take place on Tuesday, March 23 at 10 a.m. and Tuesday, March 30 at 10 a.m. The webinars are scheduled to last one hour and will discuss key program information, critical dates, the process for receiving technical assistance, and upcoming training on the new AHP online application system that will be implemented this year. A question and answer period will also be included. You can register for one of the webinars here.
Please note that AHP scoring and feasibility will not be discussed at length during the webinars. If you have specific questions about your project, we encourage you to schedule a technical assistance appointment. Please see below for instructions.
Technical Assistance will be offered beginning on April 1, and requests for assistance will continue to be honored up until August 6. Starting April 1, interested project sponsors and/or members can submit a request for technical assistance here. Once your technical assistance request is received, a CID staff member will contact you to set up a date and time for an appointment.
As mentioned above there will be a new online application in use for the AHP 2010. Hands-on training workshops on the new online application system will be conducted at multiple locations in July 2010. Please watch the website for more details.

Use this list to locate a local institution to sponsor your AHP application/project. Contact the member institution.
Step 3: Register the Project

Step 4: Access AHP Online

Step 5: Complete the AHP Application
More information about the AHP online application will be available at a later time. It is strongly recommended that you attend one of the hands-on training workshops that will address the new application system. Please watch this website for more details. |
