KANJORSKI, BANKERS, HOUSING LEADERS TO CONDUCT TOWNHALL MEETING; GRANT PRESENTATION FOR SPECIAL-NEEDS HOUSING HIGHLIGHTS OCTOBER 13 EVENT

BLOOMSBURG, PA, October 7, 2005 — U.S. Rep. Paul Kanjorski
(PA-11), community bankers, homebuilders, affordable housing advocates and other civic leaders will gather at 4 p.m. Thursday, October 13, for a Townhall Meeting on issues affecting housing and community development sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank). The meeting will be held at Scott Meadows, Third and Worman streets in Bloomsburg and is expected to last 90 minutes.

In addition to the roundtable discussion on housing and community development, Congressman Kanjorski will present an Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant for a new area housing project.

Directions:

From I-80 East or West: Take the PA-487 South exit toward Bloomsburg. Turn left onto Lightstreet Road/PA 487 South. End at Scott Meadows, Third and Worman streets, Bloomsburg.
