Sen. Casey, Rep. Holden to Headline $100 Million Grants Celebration:
Sept. 14 event to feature new housing grants, mark 75th bank anniversary

HARRISBURG, PA, September 7, 2007 - The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank Pittsburgh) announced today that U.S. Sen. Robert P. Casey Jr. (D-PA) and U.S. Rep. Tim Holden (PA-17) will be the guest speakers at a special Capital area event at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 14 at the YWCA Greater Harrisburg, 1101 Market Street. The event will celebrate the $100 million milestone of the Affordable Housing Program in Pennsylvania and also mark the 75th Anniversary of the creation of FHLBank, a government sponsored enterprise founded by Congress.

Sen. Casey, Rep. Holden, FHLBank Community Investment Director John Bendel and YWCA Greater Harrisburg Chief Executive Officer Tina Nixon will join representatives of state and local government and the local banking and nonprofit communities for the celebration. During the event, Sen. Casey and Rep. Holden will help award an additional $1.3 million in grants for new affordable housing in central Pennsylvania. The event will also feature a special award for outstanding community service to be bestowed upon an area financial institution.

The event host, YWCA Greater Harrisburg, is a previous Affordable Housing Program grant recipient.

From downtown
Take Market Street to Cameron Street. Cross over Cameron Street and immediately turn right into the YWCA driveway.

FROM EAST END
Take Market Street to 13th Street. Turn left onto 13th Street. Turn right onto Chestnut Street (first right). Follow Chestnut to the end of the street (South Summit). Cross South Summit Street and pass through the YWCA gate.

FROM ROUTE 83 N or S
Take the Second Street exit. Follow Second Street to Market Street. Turn right on Market Street. Follow Market Street to Cameron Street (fourth set of lights). Cross over Cameron and immediately turn right into the YWCA driveway.

FROM ROUTE 15 N or S
Cross the river at Market Street Bridge. Follow Market Street to Cameron Street (fifth set of lights from Front Street). Cross over Cameron Street and immediately turn right into the YWCA driveway.

FROM ROUTE 81 NORTH OR SOUTH
Take the Cameron Street exit. Head south on Cameron Street to Market Street. Turn left onto Market. Immediately turn right into the YWCA driveway.

FROM PA TURNPIKE EAST OR WEST
Take the Harrisburg East exit. From the toll booth, go straight to 83S. Take the Second Street exit. Take Second Street to Market Street. Turn right onto Market. Take Market to Cameron Street. Cross Cameron and immediately turn right into the YWCA driveway.

FROM ROUTE 283
Take Route 283 to route 83S to the Second Street exit. Take Second Street to Market Street. Turn right on Market. Take Market to Cameron Street. Cross Cameron and immediately turn right into the YWCA driveway.

FROM ROUTE 322 E
322 East becomes Cameron Street. Continue straight on Cameron Street to Market. Turn left onto Market Street. Immediately turn right into the YWCA driveway.

PLEASE NOTE: When leaving the YWCA following the event, you can only turn right onto Market Street. If you are going Downtown, exit from the rear of the YWCA. Take Chestnut to 13th Street. Turn left onto 13th. At Market and 13th streets, turn left.
