What is Home4Good?

Home4Good helps those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by channeling dollars to local service organizations that know how to help. Funding is offered annually by FHLBank Pittsburgh and the Delaware State Housing Authority, the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and the West Virginia Housing Development Fund. Continuums of Care and service organizations serving the homeless partner with FHLBank members to apply for Home4Good grants during the funding round. Awards are announced in December.

How Does Home4Good Benefit Members?

FHLBank Pittsburgh members benefit from Home4Good participation in a variety of ways:
  • Community Reinvestment Act credit
  • Good corporate citizenship
  • New business opportunities
  • No disbursement, monitoring or additional work - it's easy!

How to Participate

FHLBank members can indicate interest in sponsoring Home4Good projects by completing a Home4Good Interested Member form. Participating members could then be contacted by Continuum of Care organizations or service providers seeking co-applicants for specific grant proposals. After signing the proposal, members have no additional program requirements to fulfill - that's it!

Continuums of Care and service organizations serving the homeless must partner with an FHLBank Pittsburgh member to apply for Home4Good grants during an open funding round. To find a member partner, view a list of participating members or contact FHLBank for help with a member match.
