Member eNotes Checklist

Step 1: Start the conversation - connect with your FHLBank Business Development Manager to discuss eNote collateral options.

Step 2: Understand the requirements - review the FHLBank Electronic Promissory Notes (eNotes) Model Collateral Acceptance Requirements and Guidelines documentation.

Step 3: Complete key agreements - execute the Advances Agreement Addendum for eNotes. If not a MERS member , join and sign the MERS eRegistry Addendum.

Step 4: Update your MERS profile - acknowledge FHLBank as secured party in your MERS profile.

Step 5: Validate your technology - select eVault and perform connectivity testing with FHLBank.

Step 6: Pledge your eNotes - identify and verify eligible eNotes. Add FHLBank as the secured party in MERS eRegistry, transfer location to FHLBank's eVault and use MERS eDelivery to transmit eNotes.

Step 7: Report and receive lending value - follow FHLBank guidance to report pledged eNotes and receive lending value.
