Becoming a first-time homeowner as a single mother has been an incredible journey for Bianca. Bianca says that she couldn’t have done it without the support of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank) and our member, LINKBANK, that facilitated that her home financing process was as smooth and stress-free as possible.
“What made this experience even more special was being a recipient of the First Front Door grant,” said Bianca. The FHLBank program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible first-time homebuyers.
“This grant significantly eased the financial burden, allowing me to secure my home with confidence,” said Bianca.
Bianca believes that the First Front Door grant is a lifeline for people like her and others who might not otherwise have the opportunity to own a home.
