John Ott
General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Ethics Officer
John Ott, general counsel, corporate secretary, and ethics officer, joined the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank) in 2005. He has executive responsibility for FHLBank's legal services, Board governance, and ethics office functions.
Mr. Ott joined FHLBank as a staff attorney more than 20 years ago and has provided business-focused legal advice throughout his career to senior executives, the Board of Directors, and subject matter experts. He also leads multiple initiatives and trainings as the ethics officer, is a member of the Pennsylvania Bankers Legal Affairs Committee, and coaches softball.
Mr. Ott holds Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law, and a BSBA with a concentration in Finance and Investment Management from Duquesne University.
